Sonya N. Davis

Nashville native, Sonya is a seasoned, professional business banker in the Metropolitan Nashville and Williamson County area. Sonya attended elementary school in Louisville, Kentucky where she demonstrated stellar academics and athleticism. She relocated back to Nashville and graduated high school in the Metropolitan Public school system. Upon graduation, Sonya attended Tennessee State University and studied Criminal Justice, married and began raising her family. After entering her professional career, she aligned her field of study to her educational focus and earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix. 

Throughout Sonya’s 20 years as a banker and business professional, she has utilized her experience and passion for helping people in the community through leadership and service. Sonya’s dynamic, “can do” personality, coupled with her honest approach to people, made her a trusted and well-liked solutions provider within the community. 

She was elected and she served as the Local Area President of Exhale for Women, an international women’s empowerment organization. She was re-elected after her first term and promoted to Chapter Director spanning 5 states area where she spearheaded countless community related events and initiatives helpful to both her internal leadership team, members and the general public. She pioneered and established 15 & 30 LLC, which educates underserved youths between the ages of 15 and 30 about financial literacy and life skills.

An advocate for community, Sonya supports many causes through volunteerism. She has volunteered with several community organizations including, The Nashville Women’s Homeless Shelter and Metro Nashville Public Schools, the Martha O’Bryan Center, the Nashville Business Incubation Center, where, Sonya has helped facilitate small business classes for small business owners and helped spearhead partnerships with U.S. Bank. 

Sonya is a Business Banker at U.S. Bank, the nation’s fifth largest bank where she is a Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Development Consultant.
